weekly catch up

So this past week has been really good. It started on Wed, I have signed up for WW again and when I went and weighed in I lost 3.6 pounds.... so I was very happyd. My MOm and Walt got here on Wednesday. Then on Thursday I got together with my friend Keri. She got engaged has been super busy so I haven't really got to see her. So we went to dinner and movie and got to catch up. It was really fun and nice to see her.

Then on Friday after work my mom picked me up from work and we had some mother/daughter bonding time. We went to Olive Garden for dinner and then we went to the mall and my mom bought me some new bras.... its always important to have good ones :) It was nice to spend some time with her.

`Then on Saturday we all met for lunch at the Pizza Factory. It was soo yummy. We all had a good time, and most of us made a good choice:) He he.... then Dan headed home and I went down to my siters to spend the night with them. We went and saw my sisters new house in Spanish Fork. It was soooo nice... I am soo happy for her. Then me, angie, lauren andher friend Andrea had some sister bonding time and we went and saw the movie Valentines Day. It was really fun and it had been a whie since we all went to a movie together.

THen on Sunday we just relaxed and then that afternoon Lauren did my hair and it turned out sooo good.. I am sooo excited for her to to start Cosmetology school. She will rock it. She definetly is an Aveda Specialist. Then Ryan and Angie came over and we all had a yummy dinner. So it was really good. Its always fun when MOm and Walt come.

MY VALENTINE

SO DAN AND I CELEBRATED VALENTINES TODAY. DAN WAS SOOO EXCITED ALL WEEK CAUSE HE KEPT SAYING HE HAD A GREAT SUPRISE FOR ME. SO THIS MORNING WHEN WE WOKE UP I GAVE DAN HIS FIRST VALENTINES PRESENT. IT WAS A WII GAME. THEN HE TOOK ME TO WORK AND TOLD ME I WOULD GET MINE SOON. SO THEN AROUND NOON DAN CALLED ME AT WORK JUST TO SAY HI AND SAY I LOVE YOU. THEN TWO SECONDS LATER HE WALKS INTO THE STORE AND HAD A BALOON BOQUET AND A ROSE FOR ME. HE LOOKE SOOO CUTE AND I WAS SOO SUPRISED. IT WAS REALLY SWEET. THEN HE TOLD ME THERE WAS ONE MORE THING AT HOME. SO WHEN HE PICKED ME UP AT FOUR I CAME HOME AND I USUALLY GO CHANGE IN MY CLOTHES IN THE BEDROOM. SO I WENT IT AND ITW AS DECKED OUT WITH ROSE PETALS, AND CANDY AND CHOCOLATES. IT WAS REALLY SWEET. HE TOTALLY SCORED POINTS. THEN WE WENT TO TGIFRDAYS FOR DINNER AND THEN HEAED FOR NICKEL KADE FOR OUR DATE. IT WAS A REALLY GREAT VALENTINES. WE WERE TALKING TONIGHT ABOUT H0W THIS IS OUR FOURTH VALENTINES TOGETHER. AND IT WAS FUN TO REMINISCE. .LOVE YOU SWEETHEART!!!!

thankful Friday

Since I didn't get to do my thankful thursday i decided I would do thankful friday.

So today I signed up for WW agian. I have done pretty good maintaining my weigh but the last two weeks it has been hard. Well when I went to weigh it wasn't horrilbe but I did not like it. So now I am bound and dertermined again. I am thankful for my friend Mary Ellen and that she wanted to go sign up too. I am thankful for WW and the good tips you learn.


I am thankful for my niece Kaylie and my nephew Jaden. They are soo much fun and they are always excited to see thier aunt ME Me. I love the time i get tospendwith them.

I am thankful for my family and my extended family. Its always fun to get together. We areall pretty goofy and have a fun sense of humor.

I am thankful that my mom and walt are coming next week. Its always fun when they come to visit.

I am thankful for my co-workers and friends at work. They are always there for me anytime. ANd i have a great boss too. She is a great friend and helps me a lot.

SUPER SATURDAY

YAY SO YESTERDAY WAS THE DAY...WE FINALLY GOT A WII. WE GOT OUR TAX RETURN MONEY SO FOUR OUR PRESENT WE DECIDED WE WOULD FINALLY GET A WII. DAN WAS SUPER EXCITED!!!!!! WE ALSO GOT FAMILY GAME NIGHT 2 AND DAN GO THE GAME HE WANTED SPORE HERO. IT WAS SOO NICE TO BE ABLE TO HAVE A LITTLE MONEY TO GET ONE.

I AM GOING TO DO WW AGAIN. REGISTRATION IS FREE SO I AM GOING TO GO SIGN UP NEXT WEEK. I AM REALLY DETERMINED TO LOSE 15 MORE POUNDS. I HAVE DONE PRETTY WELL AT MAINTAINING MY WEIGHT SO THAT IS GOOD. I CAN'T WAIT TIL I DO LOSE IT CAUSE THEN MY MOM WIL BUY ME SOME NEW CLOTHES. AND ITS SOOO MUCH MORE FUN GOING SHOPPING CAUSE CLOTHES ACTUALL LOOK GOOD. SO I WILLKEEP YOUPOSTED ON MY JOURNEY.

I DECIDED THAT I NEED TO START WORKING ON MY FOOD STORAGE AGAIN. I WAS DOINT IF FOR A WHILE BUT I SORT OF STOPPED. AND I NEED TO KEEP WORKING ON MY 72 HOUR KIT. THS YEAR FOR CHRISTMAS IWIL PROBABLY ASK FOR FOOD STORAGE . ITS FUNNY I FEEL LIKE SUCH AN ADULT TALKING ABOUT FOO D
STORAGE.

ITS BEEN REALLY HARD EVERYMONTH NOT BEING PREGNANT. I KNOW ITS ONLY BEEN A FEW MONTHS SINCE THE MISCARRIAGE BUT NOW THAT I WANT IT SOO BAD IT SEEMS LIKE IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. DAN IS OPTIMISTIC AND SAYS I NEED TO BE POSITIVE AND IT WILL HAPPEN. IAM DEFINETLY NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER. SO I AM JUST TRYING TO BE PATIENT BUT YOU GUYS KNOW ME.... I DO NOT LIKE BEING PATIENT.

DAN HAS BEEN IN SCHOOL FOR A MONTH AND HALF NOW. I HAVE BEENSOOO PROUD OF HIM. HE GOT AN A- IN HIS FIRST CLASS. ITS NOT FUN HAVING TO EDIT HIS PAPERS BUT HE IS WORKING HARD AND DOING A GOOD JOB.

SO LIFE IS GOING PRETTY GOOD. OH AND YAY OURHOUES IS ALL DONE. WE GOT ALL NEW PADDING AND TEH WALLS LOOK GOOD. ITS SO NICE TO HAVE IT PUT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.

STAYING HAPPY

MY FRIEND TERESA GAVE ME THIS IDEA. SHE HAS BEEN HAVING A HARD TIME LATELY SO SHE DECIDED TO LIST SOME THINGS THAT HELPED HER STAY HAPPY SO I THOUGHT I WOULD DO THAT TOO. LIFE IS DEFINETLY HARD ENOUGH AND ITS REALLLY EASY TO GET DISCOURAGED SO HERE ARE SOME THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY:


I LOVE THAT DAN TELLS ME HE LOVES ABOUT 20 TIMES A DAY.
I LOVE TO HEAR DAN LAUGH AND I LOVE TO TICKLE HIM BECAUSE HE SOUNDS LIKE THE PILSBURY DOUGH BOY.
I LOVE THAT I CAN READ ALL THE GREAT BOOKS AT WORK AND I DON'T EVENHAVE TO BUY THEM
I LOVE WALKING EVERDAY WITH MY FRIEND DEBBIE AND GETTING ANY STRESS OUT.
I LOVE THAT I HAVE A REALLY GREAT FAMILY. THAT I AM CLOSE WITH THEM.
I LOVE THAT I AM REALLY CLOSE TO MY SISTER LAUREN. ITS NICE TO HAVE YOUR SISTER AS YOUR FRIEND.
I LOVE THAT EVEN WHEN I AM SUPER MAD OR STRESSED DAN DOESN'T GET MAD HE ALWAYS JUSTS GIVES ME A HUG AND ASKS WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU OR HOW CAN HELP YOU?
I LOVE THAT DAN AND I HAVE A PLACE TO LIVE AND A CAR THAT WORKS AND ENOUGH FOOD.
I LOVE THAT WE HAVE SO MAN TEMPLES CLOSE BY. I LOVE THE PEACE THAT I FEEL AND THAT GOD IS REALLY NEAR.
I LOVE THAT I HAVE THE GOSPEL IN MY LIFE.
I LOVE HOW CUTE DAN IS WITH THE KIDS IN NURSERY AND HOW HE IS SOOO EXICTED TO BE A DAD.
I LOVE THAT I HAVE WEIGHT WATCHERS TO HELP ME LOSE WEIGHT AND FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF.
I LOVE THAT I HAVE A GREAT MOM WHO ALWAYS DOES THINGS FOR ME AND WILL SEND ME THINGS JUST BECAUSE.

THESE ARE JUST SOME THINGS THAT HELP ME STAY POSITIVE AND HAPPY. AND THIS WILL BE A GOOD REMINDER!!!!

Thankful Thursday

I haven't done one of these in a while and I just felt i needed to do one:

I am thankful for my sister Lauren. She helped me out the last month with some food. She doesn't have to do this but she does. I am excited for her to get back from California. I have missed her and the kiddies.

I am thankful for a house to live in and that nothing was damaged in the flood.

I am thankful for how Positive Dan is. He always tries to see the positive.

I am thankful for all my shows agian. Yes I know that might be pathetic to some of you but I don't have much to do. And its nice to escape from reality for a bit.

I am thankful for our jobs. They pay the bills and keep us fed. It made me realize how blesssed we are.

Update

Sorry its been a while since I have done a blog. I can't believe its 2010. This year started out kind of crappy. On New Years day i woke up at 7am just to go to the bathroom. Well when I stepped out into the hall it was wet. So i walked down the hall to the bathroom and there was tons of water everywhere and it was coming from the window well. So I had to call my neigbors upstairs and let them know wht was going on. So pretty all day til about 2 we were ripping up the carpet and moving everything. None of our stuff goet damgaged so that was a good thing. So this week they had to tear out the sheetrock in the kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. So slowly but surely or house will be put back together. But the nice thing is we will have all new paint and carpet and it will feel like a new house.

Dan also started school in December. He is doing the Universtiy of Phoenix Online. And he is really liking it. We were able to get loans and a grant so that is a huge blessing. Now Dan can finish up and get his Bachelors in Business Mangament.
I have decided to start doing Weight Watchers again. I just really want to lose the 15 more pounds. I did really good at maintaining it and keeping most of it off. I have been going walking and exercising. And I really want to get new clothes from my mom. So i am going to work really hard again, and I Know that I can do it.

Things are going well for us. I am very grateful that I have my job and Dan has his. We are not rich but our needs are definetly being taken care of. Thanks to my sister Lauren too she helped us so much. Hopefully soon I will be pregnant. Its been a hard few months with the miscarriage and all but I know that God is with me.
