August Already?

Wow I can't believe that we are half way through August. It has been over a month since I have posted. But we have been staying super busy and enjoying our summer. The first of this month Dan's little bro got married, and I got a new sister in law Misti. She is such a sweetheart and fits in so well with the family. I am so glad she and Mike found each other. They got sealed at Mt Timpanogis temple. They looked soo happy and Misti's dress was beautiful. Then we had the luncheon at their church building in Herriman. Then we had the reception at Dan's parents house. It was set up very nicely and they had a Zombie themed cake. They also had a DJ and we did some fun dances. We did the Macarena and YMCA. All the Classics. It was a really long day but very fun. So happy for Mike and Misti.

BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!!

ALL I CAN SAY IS BEST CONCERT EVER!!!! Lauren and I had so much fun in Vegas. We went over the 4th of July. It was sooo fun, we got to eat at an Italian place and we stayed at the Monte Carlo. We seriously screamed sooo loud we hardly had a voice. We even tried to stalk the buses. I am so glad my sister and I got to go have some good sister bonding time.

So Saturday July 2nd me, Dan, Matt and Catie went down to Freedom Days in Provo. We had never been there so we decided to check it out. There was tons of booths, rides, crafts set up. They had lots of activities for kids too. We walked around and looked at all the booths. After we did that we had a picnic and we had all kinds of fruits and crackers, and sandwiches. Then after lunch we headed over to Colonial days. That was my favorite part. They had a really cool hall of History. They had a Utah room and other rooms too. They had a huge copy of the Constitution. After we headed over Johanna's kitchen and had dinner. IT was sooo yummy Dan and I definitely want to add it to our going out to dinner places. There scones were sooo yummy!!! Then after dinner we headed to my dad's house to watch the Riverton fireworks. They were sooo awesome and pretty this year. So we had a great start to the 4th of July.

So last Thursday was Dan's birthday. He had to go to work early so I set up all his presents and left them on the table with a Happy Birthday Sign. Then when we both got home from work he got to open his presents. I got him a Wi Game StarTrek Conquest, A History Book, A gift certificate to The Hobby Store and a subscription to the History Channel Magazine. He was really happy.Then that night we had a Murder Mystery Party. We really like doing these. They are always sooo fun. Our friends Matt and Catie, Luke and his Girlfriend Ashley, and Dan's brothers Mike and fiancee Misti came. We had such a great group. And we really got into it. After the party we then had a yummy cheesecake from Costco. It was such a great day.

where has June Gone?

I cannot believe June is almost over. Time has flow this summer. We have been having lots of fun and staying busy. Its been nice to have Dan home in the evenings as well. I am excited for the the end of this month and next month. On Thursday it is Dan's birthday and we are having a Murder Mystery party. It will be really fun. I will definitely post pictures. Then the next day Dan is going to go sign up to be on the City Council. I am really excited for him. Then on Sunday Lauren and I are heading down to Vegas for the NKOTBSB concert. I am soooo super excited. It will be sooo fun to spend some time with my sister and see my Backstreet Boys. We are staying in the Monte Carlo hotel. SO it will be so fun. I can't wait to post pictures. SO that is what we are doing the rest of this month and the beginning of next. I will keep you posted.
Other than that we have been hanging out with our friends Matt and Catie, and having a good time. Its been nice having my mom here as well. We like to get together and play Scrabble and watch Parenthood. So that is what has been going on. Life is good.

Man I can't belive it is June already. Where did the month of May go? I have not blogged in so long. Partly because my computer has not wanted to work, and then mostly I have been busy, busy. The third week in May I got to go to Arizona and help my mom and walt pack up and move. It was fun to have a vacation. And of course we played and saw a movie, and went to Johnny Rockets. We got the truck loaded up and ready. We also had to move Grandma Elsie. It was quite an adventure on the ride home, but we had a good time. And we also had our Pants:). It sooo nice to have mom so close now.

Dan and I have also been busy. Since I was gone for a whole week Dan and our friends Matt and Catie planned a suprise date when I got back on Sat the 21st. They picked me up at my mom's and Dan was all dressed up in a nice blue shirt and slacks, and freshly shaven. They had cheesefries for the ride over. Then we headed to Hollywood Connections. We had tickets for the new Pirates movie. But we had time before so we played Laser Tag and rode the rollercoaster. It was super fun and I am so thankful for my hubby and great friends.

Easter Morning... with our Easter Baskets.

Its been a while since I have blogged. Just been busy having fun. The week before Easter Dan had the whole week off for Spring break. It was very nice to have him home and each night we got to do something. I am looking forward to summer when he will be home in the evenings. Easter Sunday was very nice. We had dinnner at our friend Matt and Caties, and then we played games. It was sooo fun and we had a great time. We are greatful to our new friend Matt and Catie.t hey are sooo nice and we have a super nice time with them. Also the day before Easter, dan told me he had a nice suprise for when I came home from work. So he had me take a skirt and a shirt to work and to change into it before i came home. So when I got home and walked in he had a Candelight dinner. I was sooo shocked. He had the table all set up nicely, with two candles. He had Sparlking cider and a yummy dinner. Steak and potatoes. He even asked the butcher what the best cut was. He had a mixed cd playing that I gave him for Valentines day. It was sooo nice and very romantic. He had everything planned out. Oh yeah and he was all dressed up too. It is something I will always remember.

Last wednesday I took the written test so I could get my Learners permit yet again. I really do notlike going to the DMV. I alwasy come out of there honery. But at least I passed. Now my goal is to have my license by the end of August.

I can't believe it is May already. I did not like the snow we got the day before May. Its sooo crazy this weather. Later this month on the 17th I get to go withmy mom to Arizona to help them pack up. I am sooo super excited. My mom and walt are moving to Utah. They found a house in Sandy. I have not seen it yet. But the road trip will be fun. Anyway that is all that is going on for now.
