Glorious Salsa!!!

This is the first night it had to sit and drain.

So this has been a pretty fun week with it being my birthday and all. Well then on Wednesday I went to my friend KrisAn's parents house and we made and canned homemade Salsa. Now you don't understand this Salsa is soooo good. When I lived with KrisAn that is how I discoverd it, and then when Dan and I got married we got 12 jars as a wedding gift. Well about a two months ago we ran out, and I told Karen that we needed more salsa. Well she is sooo nice she bought all the ingredients and invited us over and showed us how to make it. I didn't realize what a long process it was. The first night Karen already had all the stuff cut up then we had to combine it all together and then it had to sit overnight and drain all night. Then last night takes the longest cause you have to boil it, and stir it and clean the bottles and add everything else in. But it was a lot of fun and I want to thank Karen for showing us how to make. I appreciate it even more!!!

The BIG 28!!!

So today is the big day. Yes thats right I am the big 28!!! I can't believe I am two years away from 30. But today has been such a fun Birthday!!!! I woke up about 7:30 this morning and was soo excited to open my presents from Dan!!!! The bad thing is last night he kept tempting me and asking me if I wanted to open them up last night. Anyway I lasted til about 8 and then i got too excited and made Dan get up too. He does such a wonderful job picking out my presents. He got me a very pretty silver sterling necklace, a new watch, a framed picture of Joseph Smith in the grove, and two movies 9 to 5, and Miss Congeilality 2. I love the necklace and I wore it to work today.

When I went to work today my friend Paige and my boss Crystal gave me a gift basket. It had diet coke, fritos and laffy taffy in it, (the three most important things to get me through the day) and the movie Becoming Jane. I was so suprised and Happy. I love that movie. I always bring lafft taffy to work and we always read the jokes. Then my boss usually gets everyone a cake from Schmidt's bakery. and oh my gosh if you have not had anything from them you are missing out. But i will say they become addicting!!! But they were out of cake, so she got a pumpkin cake roll and it was soooo good. Then she ordered Pizza too. So it was really fun. Then about four my good friend Julie came by around 4 and suprised me with a gift. It was sooo cute. I have a picture of it. She took hostess cupcakes and made a cake out of them and stuck a candle in the top one. It was so cute and such a fun surprise.

Tonight my betest friend KrisAn took me out to Chili's for my b-day and then we went shopping. I had some gift cards that I got to use. So it was sooo nice not to spend my own money. Anyway I know you are probably sick of hearing about my b-day festivites. But I am just greatful for all my friends and family and all that you do for me.

Great Friends

So last night we had my b-day party dinner at the Pizza Factory. I must say that I have an amazing group of friends. I have been truly blessed. There was about 15 of us there. We were loud and having fun. The people that were there were: Christian and Grant, with there three kids. Keri, my bestes friend KrisAn and her husband Jared, Marianne, Larene and Her husband James, Dan and I, and Syrina her hsuband had to work. We had such a great time. Christian and Grant gave me a 25 gift card to barnes and noble, marianne gave me that cute Halloween bag seen below with cute dish towels, candles, a halloween pumpkin kit, and some light up pumpkins, and Keri gave me a pink wallet. I just want to tell my friends how much I appreciate them and all they do for me. Even though I don't get to see some of them all the time. I appreciate the times I do.

When I got the Halloween gifts from Marianne it got me ecxited to go decorate, so I came home and put up all my Halloween decorations. I have pumpkin lights that I was goign to put up but they don't work so I have to buy some new ones. So here a few pictures of good presents I got. I felt bad because I forgot to take my Camera last night so I don't have a pic of the group.

Hello everyone so today I got my b-day package from my mom. I was so excited to open it. Yes I know that it is early but hey thats okay, my mom gets excited to send them and hey it needs to get there in time.. I got a cute black shirt from Old Navy, a Lane Bryant Gift Card (heck yes), some David and Victoria Beckham perfume... for real. Some cute halloween kleenek and a card. The WEEKEND

Hello all.. hope you all enjoyed your friday!!! I had Thursday off this week so today I had to work. I am ready for the weekend I wish I didn't have to work tomorrow but hey thats okay. Tomorrow night Dan and I are going to a play with his parents at The Empress Theatre in Magna. It is just a little bity theatre but it is so fun and they have some of the best plays. We love to go to them. So that should be fun.

I got Jessica Simpsons new album. IF you haven't heard she is going Country, and I think she has finally found her niche. It is really good and I love that she seems happy and is doing well.

Anyway hope you all have a great weekend. I will write more this weekend. Only 10 days til my b-day!!!!

14 Days til my b-day!!!

Hello all hope you all got through your monday okay. Mine started off not soo good. Its a long story so I won't go into it, but I am not so upset about it now. I had the chance to calm down. But I want to thank my Husband and Mom for being so supportive and being there for me when I was mad and upset. For letting me vent.

Not much is new....Last week was pretty good. Last monday my shows started.... my gossip girl, one tree hill, the new 90210, the hills and all sorts are back on. Yes I know it is pathetic I have n o life. But my husband has to work at nights, so I need something to keep me busy. Last tuesday I watched the new 90210. It was really good... It has a few of the orignal cast members and then I like the new people they picked. It was realy good.. my friend Melissa from work watched it too and we were texting each other through out the show. Tomorrow we are going to get together at her house and watch it and then watch the new show called the Fringe. The main reason we are watching it is because it has Joshau Jackson in it, yes( pacey from Dawson's Creek). he is sooo cute. He has always been one of my celebrity crushes. So that will be fun.
I couldn't beleive the cold and rain on Labor Day. I am so not looking forward to the snow, and the cold. But I hope you all noticed my Christmas countdown. yes I know its early... but i love CHRISTMAS!!!

Okay other than that not much else... oh yeah only 13 shopping days left for my b-day. I take cash, checks, gift certificates... he he!!! Hope you all have a great week.

Hello so this saturday we had my niece Katya's l year old b-day party. The whole family was there and we had a good time. And to top it off BYU won so it was all around a good time.Of course we did the pizza thing because you know my family we love pizza. Here are some pics from the party. I must say I have the cutest nieces and nephews. Anyway it has been a nice relaing weekend. Today we are going to see the movie Traitor it looks so good.
