Whatever Wednesdays....

I got this idea from my sister Lauren and I really liked it so here it goes...

I hate trying to decide what to make for dinner epsecially now that I am on weight watchers.. I have to ask, " How many points will this use?' WHATEVER!!!

If Jasons choooses Deanna on the bachelor next week then he is a loser!!!! WHATEVER!!!!

I don't like that I am the one that always has to call my friends to do something...so no more of that... WHATEVER!!!!

I should go out walking or something but it so freaking cold WHATEVER!!!

I am not giving up my cheesefries for Weight Watchers... WHATEVER!!!!

My house is never clean enough WHATEVER~!!!!

Its been a while

Hey everyone... so its been a while since I have done the blog thing. I don't know what it is but lately I have not been into it as much. I have kind of been digging the facebook thing. Anyhooo life is going pretty good. This has been a good but challening week. On Monday Dan had the day off and I got off at 3 so we went to see the Pink Panther 2 with our friends larene and James. It was pretty funny and we had a good time.
Two weeks ago my mother and law invited me to a Weight Watchers meeting. And I really liked it and I liked the leader. Well I don't really have the money for it but Louise said she woudl pay for it for me. So this wednesday I went and signed up. ANd it is FREAKIN hard...... I am starving like all the time. I know they say it wil get easier but I keep thinking about food constantly and that I can't have this or I can only have one of them and how many points do I get. Its really been a challenge. I k now its a good program and it made me aware of how many calories things have in them. Like one of my favorite meals at Chilis has like 1350 calories... dang Gina I had no idea. So anyway Ihave just been struggling this weekend and I wish that I didn't like to eat. I epsecially eat when I am sad. Anyway I go on Wed for my first weigh in and I don't know how I wil do. I just start over each day.. I have stayed witthin my points and what not so we will see.

Sorry about my complaining but I needed to get it out. My leader Janice says to write it down or to tell someone, but its hard to talk to my husband and other peopel about it because they don't know how I feel. and its not there fault i Just decided to write it down.

Anyway today I am just takign it easy at home.. I dont' really feel well... I have some kind of bug or something.

Happy Valentines Day!!!!

Yay Happy Valentines Day!!! I hope you all having a good one. I know Dan and I did. I woke up this morning and found my Valentines gift in the Bathroom sink. Yes I know you think that might be weird, but that is literally the first place I go when I get up. So Dan knew it woudl be a good spot. I almost turned the sink on and got it wet. Anyway he had single rose, and then a basket of Goodies. He had a cute stuffed monkey, some foot cream for my massages that he always gives me, some sparkly lotion, and a leatherby's gift card (heck yes) and a movie pass. does my husband know me or what? It was very sweet and romantic.

I decorated our coffee table with rose petals, and those candy conversation hearts. I also had Valentine Champagne glasses and I forgot the Sparkling cider :) so I got some later. And then I gave him the first Indianna Jones movie and a new wallet. He was very suprised and happy.

Then we all met my family at the Pizza Factory for lunch. My mom and Walt are in town. So met and ate yummy food and all had a good time. Tonight we are going to see a play at Hale Theatre. I am greatful for my Valentine and my family.

Hey everyone so today me, Dan and my dad got the chance to go up to good old Malad, Idaho. Now some of you are thinking where the heck is that? It is about an hour and half a way its right after the border. Well it was my cousin Jason's farewell and he was is goign to Mexico. But I have not been up there since my Grandma Thomas passed away so it was realy nice to go up there and to see a lot of my cousins. We always have a really good time when we get together. Lots of food and laughing.

But one of the great things about going up there was taking Dan to see it and show him where my grandma and grandpa lived for over 50 years and to show them the headstones where they are buried. It was cool to see the house because my cousin Becky lives there and they have kept some things the same and remodled some. She passed away on Feb 24 2006. Its hard to believe she is gone. My Grandma Thomas is one of the greatest people I ever knew. I don't think there was one person who did not like her. She didn' t care if you were black,white, or if you did something bad she just always invited you in to her house and would feed you and loved to visit. She was also very sarcastic like us Thomas's are. Whenever we would leave from visting her she would always stand on the porch and wave clear until we are at the end of the street, and she would always say, "Write when you find work." She was just such a kind and loving person and she did so much for people. I am greatful that I had a good relationship with her and that I got to know her. After my Grandpa passed away in 1996 we really got to know her more and she just loved to be with her family. Anyway it was a really great day and it was fun to see family.

Superbowl Sunday

So on sunday we all went over to my dads house for Superbowl Sunday. Yeah I don't really watch it but its just fun to get together and see the family, eat good food and play with the nieces and nephews. I didn't even see one commercial either. And then we left when there were 2 minutes left and I thought the Cardinals wer going to win and then when I got home I heard the news that the steelers lost. We also celebrated my brother Ryan's b-day so that was fun. Anyway we had a good time... and here are a few pictures. Notice that none of the pics are actually of the game. I have to show of my cute nieces and nephews.

10 Things I am Greatful for this week:

My family.... its always fun to get together. We sometimes act crazy but we have a lot of fun. I am greatful that we are so close and get along so well.

My co-teacher and friend Melanie Bush. She is such a great friend and I have enjoyed getting to know her and teaching with her.

My friends..... I have a great group of friends.

Books I love to read and to escape for a few days and enjoy a good story.

My health and that for the most part I am healthy and that my body works.

Date nights with my husband.....doesn't matter what we do.

That we have enough money to pay all of our bills and that we even have a little extra!!!

Our Debt management program. I get sooo excited each month when our balance has gone down. I can't believe that it keeps getting smaller.

My bath tub....that I can take nice relaxing baths whenever I want to. Its one way I can escape and get rid of the stress.
