Yeah I showed Dan this picture and told him not to be Jealous. He was soo good. I got to see in him concert tonight. He wore a black hat, a white and black shirt that was openend and blue levi's. He looked goood. It was such a fun concert!!!!

Its been a while

Hey everone...sorry it has been like five days since I have last put on a blog. I have just been kind of lazy. Our weekend was pretty good. On friday we just relaxed and enjoyed our day off. Then saturday I had to work. Then that night we babysat for Lauren. It was pretty fun. Jadena and Kaylie are soo cute. Dan is also very cute with Jaden and Kaylie. He is almost better with them then I am. I feel like I have lost my touch. Kaylie was not very happy and I had dan hold her for a minute and soon as Dan took her she stopped crying. I was very impressed. Lauren was laughing at us before she left. She said this is good practice for you two. I took one kid and Dan took the other. But it was a fun night. It was nice to do something for Lauren so she could go have a fun night.

Monday I got my hair done.... my friend Teresa from Kindercare does hair and she lives closer to me so I called her up and she did it. It turned out cute. I feeel like a new woman again. Last night I saw the movie Get Smart with some of my friends from work. It was pretty funny. So that is what I have been up to these last few days.

Yummy Chicken Pillows

So I must give a shout out to Julie and tell her how much I loved Chicken Pillows... oh my gosh they were soo good. I have been looking for new recipes to make because I am getting so sick of making the same things over. So I was talking to Julie today and on her blog she has a link called Cricketts Kitchen. Crickett was her name when she did Oakcrest. Anyhooo she puts recipes on that she likes. So she had told me about this one called Chicken Pillows and I thought it sounded soo yummy. So here is the recipe if any of you wan to try it. And thing I like best is that is really easy.

Chicken Pillows

1 chicken breast, cooked and diced
8 oz. package cream cheese
Garlic powder, to taste
1 tube Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Place cream cheese in saucepan and heat just enough to soften. Add cooked chicken and garlic powder. Place a large tablespoon of chicken mixture onto a flattened crescent roll. Roll up to cover the mixture and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake according to roll package directions. Serve with cream of chicken soup over top and serve with rice.Variation:As a little added extra, you can dip the top of the roll in melted butter and bread crumbs. But it's yummy without it too. It gives it a little extra kick!

Just another Manic Monday

So our weekend was pretty good. Friday was my day off so I enjoyed having it off. I took it easy, did some cleaning you know the usual. Then friday night Dan and I went to the play of Saturdays warrior. Do you guys all remember that show. It is classic. Lauren and I used have a big crush on Jimmy. He used to sing at Lagoon too in some of the shows. Anyway it has been 35 years can you believe that? Anyway they did that first and then the second half of the show was called the White Star and it is was about Jimmy and his family 35 years later. It was sooo good. And had both Dan and I crying. Saturday I had to work, and then we just came home and relaxed an watched a movie. My nose was all stuffed up and i was getting a sore throat so I did not feel well. Then sunday was church and just relaxing. So nows it monday and back to work. Tonight we are going to go see the movie Get Smart. We have a ticket for a advanced screening. I will let you know how it is.
So that was our weekend... not too much going.

Ashleys B-day!!!

Last night we had Dan's niece Ashley's b-day party. We had a bbq. It was sooo yummy. She is a cute little girl. We gave her that book and the soem other ones. She was soo excited. She loves the Disney princesses. It is also nice because Dan is now home at nights with me. For the summer he works 7 to 3:30 since the kids are out of school. So that is nice to be albe to do more things with him. I have to show you a cool picture of Ashleys cake. Her mom, my sister in law Emily made it.

The Weekend

Hey everyone... so I have had a pretty good weekend. I had yesterday off. I had to clean the house and do chores the first part of the day. That is never fun, but it must be done. Then I just relaxed and finally watched mondays Bachelorette. My favorites are still Jeremy and Graham. Graham better not blow it with her. I am glad she kicked off Ron. He was a jerk. Yes I know it is pathetic but I love Reality tv. I also started watching the Mole. That is a good one too. Then Dan and I went to DOn Witkee's suprise b-day party. He has been a family friend forever!!!! It was nice to see him. Then we went and saw The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. It was actually pretty good. I did not like the first one but this one was pretty good. Today I worked. And now we are just going to take it easy, and get ready for Sunday. Sorry that my blogs aren't more happenin!!But hey this is my life!!!!

My sister

I just want to take a minute and tell my sister lauren how much I love and appreciate her!!! And tell her that I think she is an awesome mom!!! SHe has been so positive about her whole situation. She is one of the strongest people I know. I know when I have kids I am definetly going to be caling her for help. Even though I have the degree I think she is doing it sooo well. She is an amazing friend and sister. I can talk to her about anything. We have some good times. Thanks Lauren for all you do!!!!

Twilight!!

So last night I went and saw the movie, Baby Mama. It was soo good and funny. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. So everyone should all go see it.

So tonight I have been hooked to this book called Twilight. It has actually been out for a year now I think but it is good. We sell it at work and it is actually about a boy who is a vampire. Yes I know sounds weird, that is what I thought. But it is set in modern day and it is actually very good. For the past hour i have been reading it. It is by Stephanie Meyers. Anyway just thought I would let you know about it.

Tuesday

Hey everyone.... so I have had a good couple of days. On sunday we had Jadens family b-day party at Grandpas house. It was fun. All the nieces and nephews were there. Jaden was soo much fun and he was so cute when he was opening up his presents. Lauren made yummy chicken enchiladas. She also made a yummy whit cake with chocolate frosting. And it was soo cute because she put happy birthday on it. She didn't think it looked very cute but I thought it was.
Monday I worked, and then went to down to laurens friend party with my friend Amber. Then amber and I went walking to get some exercises. I have not watched the bachelor yet so I am goign to watch that today. Hopefully Graham and Jeremy are still on. They are my favorite. I am excited for Dans b-day coming up on June 30th. I have some fun things planned for him. So if you need the address as where to send any presents or money I will let you know. We are also available any night for anyone who wants to take us out to dinner.

June 1

Hey everyone.... so Its been a few days. My weekend was pretty good. Friday I had the day off so that was nice. I just took it easy, did some cleaning and chores. Then at about 4 I went with my friend Melissa to a "senior prom." She works in the health industry and she works with the elderly. So her company was having a Senior Prom. And I went with her to help with the event. It was fun and they even had a Prom king and queen. And the couple that won was soo cute. The lady had her hair all decked out and had a pretty pink dress on. When she one she said, " it pays to get your hair done." It was fun.

Saturday I had to work most of the day , then when we came home we had a Bbq with a new couple in our ward. It was pretty fun, and we played a fun game callled five crowns. It is a card game. It is one that my sisters would like playing. Today is church and then tonight is my nephews Jaden's b-day party. That will be soo fun. I will take pics and post them tomorrow. Speaking of pictures I am soo sad, I would put more pics on but a few weeks ago my computer crashed, and Idid not have all my pics saved to a cd. So I lost them all. I still had my wedding, ones cause thsoe were saved. But I lost our Honeymoon, christmas, halloweens, everything. I was actually quite upset about it. So sorry I don't have more on. I am working on that. Hope you are all doing well.
