HE IS MY BIGGEST STRENTH AND TEACHES ME AND IS VERY PATIENT WITH ME. ESPECIALLY WITH HAVING A MISCARRIAGE HE HAS BEEN THERE EVERY STEP FOR ME. My Christmas Village

dan loves his new Snuggie. So we had such a wonderful Christmas. So this Christmas eve Dan andI had decided to do our own thing o Christmas Eve. With me having to work I am always soo tired and its hard to go to dan's parents and then mine. I had to work til 4 and then we decided to go to Texas Roadhouse. They have the early bird special two for 15.99,and you get sooo much food too. Then we went and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks the Sqeakel. It ws soooo cute and fun. Then we came home and watched Christmas Eve on Sesame street. I grew up watching that and its a tradition we will always do. It is one of my favorites. Then we read Twas the Night before Christmas. Another traditon we started was we track Santa Claus on Norad. It shows a map and tells you where is at and where is next location is. I think when went to bed he was in New York. We didn't stay up long enough to see when he got to Utah. So we had a great Christmas Eve.

Then Christmas morning dan was super excited to open our presents that he woke up at 7 and got everything ready. Then we got up and had some sparkling cider and opened up our stockings. Dan gave me lots of neat stuff in my stocking. My favorite gift was a set of wireless headphones so that when I am in the kitchen or watching a movie i can put those on and still listen to my music. I gave him a BK gift card, the move Monty Python and the Holy Grail and some candy.For his presents he got a snuggie, and he loves it. He also got the whole set of the Chronicles of Narnia book and cd. He had no idea about that and he loved it. He also got the movie Ink Heart and a new rocket.

He gave me a picture that says,"I love you to the moon and back , infintiy and beyond.", Lois and Clark the second season, an ornament and he completed my Christmas Village that I have. I loved it and I was soooo happy. So santa was definetly good to us this year. Oh yeah my moms presents were some new towels and hand towels, The Proposal , and Castle the lst season. I wil write part two later. We went to Dan's parents in the morning and then to my Dad's that afternoon for dinner. We had a really great Christmas.

Christmas Fun

So last night we went up to This is the Place Heritage Park for the annual Candlelight Chrismtas. We have never been there at Christmas time but it was sooo much fun. They decorate all the houses. They have live reindeer, Father Christmas, elf land, and lots of activities you can do. It was really fun and we definetly want to make it a tradition. Here are few pics from last night.

I can't believe it is only 5 days til Chrismtas. This week Dan and I have lots of stuff planned. Tomorrow we are heading up to Temple Square with my Dad, Angie and Brother and Sister In Law and there kids. It should be fun but Dan and I are a little nervous to go just because of what happened last time we went. Then I got yummy Chocolate donuts for afterwords. That was s traditon growing up in my family. I will have pics from there tomorrow.

So last Sunday Me, Dan, our friend Angel and her Husban Darin went to Temple Square to see the lights. We actually got there about 5:30 so right when it was getting dark. Well it was kind of weird cause they actually don't turn the lights on til 6:15. But we still had a good time. It wasn't crowded at all so we got to walk around and enjoy the light and I actually saw stuff that I haven't seen and I go every year. Anyway so we had been there about an hour and half and were getting cold. So we decided to head home. Well we had just had a great time. Well when we got to 5th S and 400 w we were turning left to go onto the interstate. Well another car was coming strait and ran right into us. He ran a red light. It was the scariest moment of my life. I have never been in a car accident this bad. Angel's husband Darrin was driving. The car spun twice and the hit the passenger car and banged up the car pretty bad. Once it stopped we all just kind of looked around and asked if everyboyd was okay. The guy that hit us came up and was like are you okay? I am sooo sorry. I wanted to say to him,"what the heck dude?" Why were you running the Red light?" But i was so shooken up. I was really worried about my friend Angel too because she had just had back surgery the month before. So i was trying to stay calm for everybody else and just kept saying that God was watching over us and protected us. Luckily all of us are okay. But I honestly know that God protected us. I literally felt like he put his arm down and stopped it from getting worse. And we were very lucky the other car that hit us was s mall one too. The amazing thing is none of the glass broke or anything. It still sucks for Angel and Darrin because they had to get there car towed. But they still do have one car and are supposed to get a rental. Anyway here are some pics from our trip. I am just very blessed to be alive and all week I have been thanking God every chance I get.

So since Thanskgiving Dan and I have been getting into the Christmas Spirit. Last weekend we went to the Festival of Trees. It has been a fun traditon we have started ever since I met Dan. I really enjoy going and we actually saw every tree. I was suprised there was no New Moon trees ,b ut there were some BYU trees and lots of snowman trees. I actually had Saturday off so we started with going to our Ward Christmas breakfast. Then we went to eat at the Training Table..that is one of our favorites. Then we went to the Festival. We also found our ornament. Another traditon we have started. Then we came home that night and watched a Christmas movie.

My mom and Dad also sent us some Christmas presents and money. So I got to go shopping on Monday and buy some new shoes and some pants that I desperately needed. Dan decided to buy a game he wanted. I am excited for this saturday because we get to go to the Forgotten Carols. And no matter how many times I see it i still love it. And it always me cry. But I am excited. I can't believe how fast Christmas is coming. I love this time and watching all the cheesy christmas movies. I am also excited for my mom to come after Christmas and to do some stuf with her.

Dan and I had a great Thanksgiving. This year we had it with Dan's family. It was also nice because Dan had from Wed to Sunday off so we actually got to see each other and spend some time together. Thanksgiving morning we slept in for a bit and enjoyed not having to get out of bed. Then I worked out because I wanted to eat lots of Thanksgiving dinner. Then we put up the Christmas Decorations. Then at 1 we went and saw the new Christmas Carol movie with Jim Carey. It was pretty good... kind of scary though. I think some little kids would be scared. But it was still fun becaus it got us in the holiday spirit. Then we headed over to Dan's parents house. We got there around 3 and were not eating til about 5. Well we just hung out and played the Wii and Louise and I played May I. Then the rest of the family came about 5.Well the turkey wasn't quite done yet so we just talked and patiently waited for the Turkey to get done. Finally about 6:15 we actually sat down to eat. But it was really good food and everyone got a long and we had a really nice time.

Friday and Saturday I had to work but, we did get to go see a play at the Sugar Factory playhouse on Saturday night. We saw the Miracle on 34th Street. It was a really good show. And it was a great way to kick of the Christmas Season!!!! Anyway Dan and I are very thankful for everything we have been given this year. We are very thankful for our families and great friends who do so much for us!!! Only 25 days til Christmas... can't believe how fast it is coming.

Catch up

I can't believe that this week is Thanksgiving..... and then only 33 days til Christmas. Time sure has gone by fast. This year we are having Thanksgiving dinner at my inlaws. It should be fun... its always hard going to the In laws cause I always want to go to my family. But I know that is life and thats what you do. And this year I am bringing the rolls so I know there will be plenty:) No I wil go with a positive attitude and its nice cause I have to work early the next morning so if we want to leave early we can.

Its really been hard the past couple of weeks. I have been feeling depressed and I have been reacting strongly to things. But I talked to my doctor and he said its totaly understandable to being feeling this way. I was pregnant and now I am grieving a loss. He got me on some anti depressants so hopefully I can start feeling better soon. But its also hard because I really want to be pregnant again. And now I am afraid it will be forever til I am. I actually took a test today and it was negative. But I am just trying to be positive and know that it will happen. Its just really hard because a lot of my co workers are pregnant and one girl found out she was pregnant the same time I did and she was due in May as well. So its really hard for me when she talks about it because I think I should be 14 weeks too.

Things have been goign well with Dan and I. We are both grateful that we have jobs... and enough to live on. Sure I complain and wish I had more, but I know I have a lot more than some people. Saw New Moon on thursday night and it was soooo good!!!! Can't wait to see it again.. I think I saw Twilight like 3 times in the Theatre.

Thankful

Its been a while since Ihave done things I am Thankful for.

I am very thankful for my husband, especially this week. It was a hard one especially since I lost my keys. He was always so positive and was like we will find them. I doubted most of the time but he didnt'. He never ridiculed or said anythign mean about how I was obsessed trying to find my keys.

I am thankful for job. Since I have to work it has been a great job and Iam glad its soo close. I know the Lord has blessed me to have it.

I am thankful for Christmas books. I love reading all of the books that come out. My mom sends me some too and its a fun traditon that we have. I read the first one in October, and I rememer telling my mom when it would be out so she could go buy it:)

I am thankful for Christmas Music... I love that KOSY and FM100 are playing it right now. I just love the songs and it makes me feel happy. yesterday with the snow it really started to feel like Christmas.

I am thankful for Melissa Dalton. Its weird not having her live upstairs now. But she is a great friend and did so much for Dan and I. And it was nice cause when we needed something we didn't have to go to the store we could just borrow it from each other.

I am thankful for Temples.... it was sooo neat to see my friend Juliet get sealed there last week. This was my first sealing I got to see since I have been married. It was a nice reminder of what our day was like. It made me all nostalgic remebring that wonderful day. I am thankful for the peace i feel there.

Random Thoughts

So here are some things I have been thinking about lately:

Now that I actually want to be pregnant I am afraid it is going to take longer now. I am trying to be positive about it and not stress so much.

I really hope my dad gets a job soon. I worry a lot about my family and want them all to be okay. I just have a huge fear and I don't want any of my family to ever be homeless. Yes I know I am worry wart.

I am excited for Thanksgiving weekend and that we can put up the tree and decorations and go get our new Christmas ornament.

Since my friend Melissa is moving I hope I can still keep active everyday. We have been going walking every morning and its really helped me to maintain my weight loss. Even though I haven't lost a ton i have maintained it and that is very hard to do. So I bought a Biggest Loser DVD that hopefully I will be motivated to do.

I hope I can get a raise soon at work and that Dan can get his raise that he got jipped on this year because of the stupid economy.

I am nervous for Thanksgiving this year... hope it will be fun. I love my inlaws but sometimes I feel like I don't belong.

Favorite Time of Year!!!

Yay so Halloween is over!!! No i like Halloween but i love this time of year. Because now the holidays are official. I think tomorrow the radio starts playing Christmas music. I just took down the Halloween decorations and I put up the few Thanksgiving ones that I have. And there are only 54 days til Christmas,can you believe that?
This year has gone by so fast... and so many things have happend. Anyway I am thankful for the month of November and that its a good reminder to be grateful for what we have!!!! I am excited this year too because my mom will be here for Christmas. I haven't had a christmas with her for about 3 years so it will be nice to have her here.
So i just encourage all of you to make a list this month and put it where you can see it and remember everything you are thankful for. And then try to add to it and leave it up all year long and see next year how it has grown.

Pumpkin Patch

So today after work Dan and I decided we wanted to carve our pumpkins. But we didn't want to just go to the boring old store and pick one out. So we decided to find a Pumpkin Patch. Well we found Mabeys Pumpkin patch in South Jordan. It was a huge pumpkin field. So we found a big pumpkin and a cute little one. Then we headed home and last year my friend Marianne for my b-day gave me some Halloween decorations and a cool pumpkin carving set. So we used that and it had different stencils that we could choose from. So I traced it and then I had dan carve it. While he was doing that one I worked on the little one. But we have decided from now on we are going to start going to a Pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins. Its a great tradition we can start and it will be fun to do when we have kids. Yesterday we had Melissa's baby shower. It was really fun. Her Mom Diane is a hoot and was so much fun to help plan it with. She was really excited because this was the first of her daugthers baby shower she actually got to attend. She used to live in Missouri so that was so far away. There was tons of yummy food and she got lots of great presents. And we had a really good turnout. Lots of people from the ward came. So here are some pictures.

THOUGHTS

SO YESTERDAY I GOT SOME SAD NEWS. I MISCARRIED I WAS JUST ABOUT 8 WEEKS. MOST OF YOU PROBABLY DIDN'T KNOW I WAS PREGNANT. I FOUND OUT ON SEPT 18 AND TO BE HONEST I WAS QUITE SHOCKED. I JUST WENT OFF BIRTH CONTROL IN JULY SO I DIDN'T THINK IT WOULD HAPPEN SO FAST. ANYWAY I ONLY TOLD A FEW PEOPLE BECAUSE OF THIS REASON. WELL ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO I WAS HAVING PAIN AND SPOTTING A BIT. WELL WHEN I WENT TO THE DOCTORS EVERYTHING WAS OK BUT THE DOCTOR TOLD ME I COULD MISCARRY. WELL LAST WEEK ON THURSDAY I WOKE UP WITH CRAMPING AND BLEEDING. THE WHOLE WEEKEND I WAS REALLY SICK AND WEAK AND COULDN'T EAT. WELL YESTERDAY WHEN I WNET TO THE DOCTOR THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. HONESTLY I WAS REALLY NOT SUPRISED. I KNEW AS I WAS LYING THERE GETTING MY ULTRASOUND THEY WERENT' GOING TO FIND ANYTHING.
I KEPT MY COMPOSURE WHILE I WAS IN THE DOCTORS ROOM BUT AS SOON AS WE GOT ONTO THE ELEVATOR I JUST STARTED CRYING. I HAD FINALLY GOT USED TO THE IDEA THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE A BABY. I ADMIT WHENI FIRST FOUND OUT I WAS SHOCKED AND A LITTLE SCARED. I HAD FINALLY ACCEPTED IT AND THEN THIS HAPPENED. DAN WAS ALSO VERY SAD. HE HAD BEEN EXCITED FRM THE MINUTE I TOLD HIM I WAS PREGNANT.
SO THIS WEEKEND HASN'T BEEN THE BEST. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF CONFUSIG THOUGHTS GOING THROUGH MY MIND. MANY BURSTS OF CRYING AND I HAVE BEENR EALLY ANGRY. I ALSO FEEL SOME GUILT BECAUSE I WASN'T VERY EXCITED TO BE PREGNANT AT FIRST.
SO NOW HONESTLY I AM SCARED TO TRY AGIAN. I KNOW THAT THIS HAPPENS A LOT BUT HONESTLY THAT DOESN'T HLEP ME FEEL BETTER. SO PLEASE PRAY FOR ME TO HELP WITH ALL THESE FEELINGS. AND THAT I WON'T BE AFRAID TO TRY AGAIN.

SO YESTERDAY WAS THE DAY!!!! THE BACKSTREET BOYS CAME OUT WITH THERE NEW ALBUM HECK YES!!!!! I WAS JAMMING OUT TO IT IN THE CAR YESTERDAY. DAN WAS LIKE DO I HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS? HE HE IT WAS FUNNY!!!

THINGS HAVE BEEN PRETTY GOOD. LAST WEEK FROM LIKE WED TO SAT I WAS REALLY SUPER SICK. I DIDN'T HAVE MUCH OF AN APPETITITE BUT IT WAS NICE BECAUSE IHAD THE WEEKEND OFF SO I GOT TO HAVE MUCH NEEDED REST. I DID FEEL BAD BECAUSE DAN HAD FALL BREAK AND OUR EXCITING FUN WEEKEND WASN'T VERY FUN. BUT HE WAS A SWEETIE AND DIDN'T COMPLAIN AND TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF ME. I FELT BAD BECAUSE LAST WEEK ON TUESDAY HE HAD A PANIC ATTACK AT WORK. HE SAID HE WAS JUST SUPER WORRIED ABOUT ME BECAUSE I WAS SICK. SO I FELT BAD. BUT HE IS A GREAT HUSBAND AND TOOK SUPER CARE OF ME. WE DID SNEAK AWAY FOR A BIT TO GO SEE CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS. IT WAS REALLY CUTE.

SO ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR. TO START THE CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN ONLY 79 DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS YAY!!!!! I HAVE BEEN READING THE FUN CHRISTMAS BOOKS AND MY MOM SENT ME ONE THE OTHER DAY. ANYWAY THATS ALL FOR NOW.

Fun at the Circus

So on Saturday night Dan, Me, Melissa and Adam went to the Circus and it was soooo fun. IT has een such a long time since I have been to the circus. But it was really good. My favorite part was the elephants and the the Tigers. There was probaly 8 or so tigers in the cage with the Trainer. Here are some fun pics from that night.

This weekend has been pretty fun. On thursday night I got to babysitt Jaden and Kaylie so Lauren could go visit Justin who has been sick. It was sooo fun. They are such fun kids.We walked to the park by my house and we played on the swings and the play ground. Jaden wanted me to do everything that he would do on the playground.It was pretty cute. Then we came home and i put on the movie cars and they sat on the couch and ate their cheerios. Well eventually they got tired and they both laid down with a pillow and a blanket. It was soo cute.

Then last night we celebrated my birthday with all my friends at KrisAn's house. We had a chocolate fountain and then we all brought stuff to dip into the chocolate. We had strawberries, and cinnamon bears, and grapes, and marshmallows. We also played the games spoons, and Jenga. We always have a good time when we get together and of course we are always loud too.

Catch Up

Hi everyone.... its been a while since I have done a blog. Sept 1st through the 10th my mom was here. And it was such a fun week. I love when she comes. I will admit that she spoils us sometimes. anyway she got here on wed and that next thursday she took me and lauren and Jaden and Kaylie to one of our favorite resteruants in Utah, Robintinos. We had a good time and good food. Then on friday was the shopping day. She took me Birthday shopping. I got new walking/work shoes, a new bra, two pair of pants, and a cute jacket. Oh we also had lunch before with dan at Training Table heck yes.

Then that sunday my mom came and picked me up, dan just wanted to stay home and relax. So. i went down there at my sisters and we just hung out all day and she died my hair for me and it looks sooo cute. Then my brother Ryan came over and lauren's boyfriend Justin and we had yumy chicken enchiladas. Then on Wednesday we did family pictures at Wheeler farm with all the girls in the family and the grandkids. I am sooo excited to see them. They will be sooo cute. Anyway it was a really great day and I was so glad I got to spend some time with my mom. Whenever she leaves I always have to stop myself from getting sad. Its just hard sometimes not seeing her very much. But I am so glad that she gets to come down about every 3 months.

This week has been good. Some more of my shows have started and the bigges Loser started on Tuesday. Heck yes it is going to be a good season. anyhoo can't wait to go see Love Happens tomorrow. Talk to you all soon.

The Backstreet Boys are Back!!!!!

I am sooo excited for their new album due out on Oct 6th. I don't care if you make fun of me. I have been with them from the start and I love them!!! Brian is still my favorite. Don't worry Dan knows about my obsession with them. Every year when we put the tree out he makes me put my Backstreet boys ornament towards the back.

Stringing Popcorn

So my sweet hubby Dan did such a nice thing for me on sunday.. The last week or so I have been kind of feeling down and ready to give up. Well today he came home from church a few minutes early and had a suprise for me. When I came home he had me close my eyese and he led me into our front room. He had put up some Christmas lights, and our stockings, and had a few decorations out, and had made some popcorn so we could string it, and had a cute Christmas candy bowl, and the movie the Polar Express on. I was soo suprised and so happy. He had put so much effort and thought into it. He knew I needed some cheering up and he just wanted to do it to do something nice. And as most of you know I love Christmas!!! And I am soo glad that Dan does too. We always put up our tree really early and love doing all the christmas things. Anyway it was a really nice suprise and it was fun watching the Polar Express and having Chrismtas for a day!!! Don't worry we put all the decorations away, i still have to put up Halloween decorations. But it meant a lot to me !! Thanks Babe I love you!!!!

Whatever Wednesdays!!!

I love nothing bundt cakes... its a good thing they are located in Draper or I would be in troulbe. I don't even want to know how many points one little bundt cake is.. WHATEVER!!!!!

I have not been doing very well at tracking(writing down everything I eat). I need to get back on track.. WHATEVER!!!!


My sore on my nose is getting better.. but it still hurts if I have to blow it or wipe it ... WHATEVER!!!!

I don't know why I am ready for bed by 8:30 each night. Its soo hard to stay up til Dan gets home... I guess I am getting old... WHATEVER!!!!!

I don't know what shows I will watch until the fall season starts... WHATEVER!!!!

I hope I can go swimming on friday.. I seriously have only been swimming twice this whole season... WHATEVER!!!!

Thankful Thursday

I haven't done one of these in a while and I can't really sleep so I thought I would do one.

I am thankful for my two sisters Angie and Lauren. They really are great sisters... and we have so much fun together. I also want to to wish them Happy Birthday!!!

I am thakful that I am a peacemaker and that I care about other people and want things to go well.

I am thankful for the new pair of pants i got from my mom. My mom is always thinking of her kids and tries to help them anyway she can even though she doesn't always have money either.

I am thankful that I got to go to Education week yesterday. I came home in such a good mood and learned some great tools and things I can use to better my relationship with Dan and my family.

I am thankful that Dan can apologize and say he is sorry. I think it takes a lot to be able to really be sorry and mean it.

I am thankful that I have enought money to pay all the bills. And I am thankful that the Lord reminds me of all that I have and he will give me what I need when it is needed.

Dinosaur Museum

So today both Dan and I had the day off so we decided to do something fun. We went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point and let me say it was way fun. Seriously we had a blast. There is a lot of interactive things to do and its not just for kids. And your learn so much too. We had so much fun. We also ate at Five Guys for lunch. That place is soo yummy!!!!!!
